The company has also been able to reduce energy consumption by using location and traffic data in combination with Artificial Intelligence.<\/li>\n<li>Retailers Amazon and Walmart work with customer behavior data to predict product demand.<\/li>\n<li>Entertainment company Netflix analyzes data about the use of the service by users, determines their interests and reasons for leaving the page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These processes take place automatically without human involvement.<\/p>\n<p>Experience and intuition are traditional assistants to business leaders. However, despite the value of these qualities, a business using data in the decision-making process is 19 times more profitable. Data helps to make better business decisions that leads to goals achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Many companies claim to be data-driven because it is \u00abtrendy\u00bb these days. But in practice this is not entirely true. They only take data into account if the data matches the beliefs and intuition of the business leader. A data driven business assumes that data is the only point of truth.
