The last post was dedicated to one of the main providers of software for BI systems – Qlik. Today we will continue our introduction to Qlik and its products. Let’s start with QlikView – one of the top business intelligence systems.

QlikView is the first-generation BI solution from QlikTech. At the time, it promoted more flexible approach to data discovery and was the beginning of a data revolution. Through intuitive search and discovery, the solution has changed data usage by organizations. This, in turn, has provided access to business intelligence to more business users than ever before.

QlikView is a self-service BI platform for any enterprise user. It is the software that allows business users of any level to access and analyze data from various sources (databases, SQL servers, Excel files, XML, text files). Obtained results can be used to support decisions.

Data processing mechanisms and algorithms are a key product feature. ROLAP flexibility and MOLAP speed allow to instantly generate new information. QlikView stores data in memory that can be accessed by many users instantly. QlikView implements an associative architecture that allows to work associatively with data regardless of its location.

The downloaded data is available in a user-friendly interface. QlikView allows to create clear and intuitive data views using a variety of graphs, various table and chart formats.

QlikView is a great tool for solving business problems, allowing you to create interactive dashboards and analytic applications regardless of stack technology.
